Our Bin Covers evolved during the Sydney Olympics, when event caterers realised that the cost of providing crockery, cutlery & glassware for large scale events was not sustainable. Considering the hire or purchase cost plus associated costs of clearing staff, washing, polishing, storage, transportation, breakage etc, the concept of using disposables became much more attractive.
Taking that concept one step further, was to provide guests with the opportunity to ‘dispose of the disposables’ themselves, thereby reducing the staff costs. The solution was to dress Wheelie Bins in a manner that made them presentable in a public environment, and so the birth of Wheelie Bin Covers….
More and more people are taking the step to separate waste at the source, which is not only better for the environment but helps reduce waste transfer costs.
Simply remove the covers to empty the bins.
Whilst black is the most popular colour for onsite refuse collection (and also the most serviceable), we can make your covers in a colour to compliment your Venue, Brand or Waste Type.
Alternatively, we can provide covers in different colours to separate the waste at the source; i.e. General Waste (Red), Paper & Cardboard (Yellow), Bottles & Cans (Blue), Organic (Green).
